'Recycle' is a 50-second horror short made as a creative artifact for my Bachelor of Animation (Honours) research project. This was a comparative analysis on Grease Pencil's effectiveness in developing an entirely 2D hand-drawn animation and how this 3D open-source program works in a 2D pipeline.
These are the following results, ultimately proving that Blender Grease Pencil can be used as a primary 2D software.
Synopsis:
A lone park cleaner who empties out the recycling bins everyday holds a dirty secret - a fleshy appendage lurks inside, helping to keep the cleanliness of the park at bay, both by picking up rubbish and 'taking out' the litterers at night. On this night, a drunken man becomes the next victim.
